Patent Reform Bill Stalls in Senate as
Foes Object to Damages Apportionment

Some believe that the setback makes it unlikely that the Senate will vote on the bill before the next legislative recess at the end of May, which could derail it until at least after the November elections. But members of the biotech and tech-transfer communities reiterated the importance of continuing to work with Congress to sculpt legislation that is fair to all stakeholders.
