Tufts Spinout Quanterix Nets $15M in VC

Tufts, which has an undisclosed equity stake in Quanterix, is betting that the upstart firm can follow in the footsteps of Illumina, whose 2000 IPO netted the university some $8 million, and whose BeadArray product sales continue to generate royalty payments for the school.
